Witwiser works as a browser extension. You can use the extension in any of the supported browsers.
You can quickly access the Witwiser Browser Extension via the chrome store and install it quickly with 2 clicks.
The Witwiser Extension only activates during the exam. You can remove or disable the extension after the exam.

"Capture content of your screen" authorization is required for screen recording at the time of the exam. Remember, even if this permission is given, it is not possible to record the screen without your approval when the screen recording will be started.
"Read and change all your data on all websites" We need this authorization to prevent you from visiting different websites during the exam. In some cases, your institution may allow certain websites to be opened. We need this authorization in order to control it in accordance with the settings made by your institution. Remember, the plugin is only active at the time of the exam.
"Identify and eject storage devices" authorization does not grant access to your files. We need this authorization to check the capabilities of your device. As can be understood from the name of the authorization, this authorization does not give access to the file system, but to the device information, to the relevant meta-data.
Witwiser works as an extension on the browser. The extension does not have access to local files on its computer. If you have concerns about the security of the information on your browser or about your files, you can take one of the following actions very quickly.
1 - Open Chrome and click the icon in the upper right corner.
2 - Click the "Manage people". The menu may change depending on the Chrome version. You can continue by clicking the "Add" in the "Other People" section.
3 - Click the "Add person".
4 - After specifying the name and logo for the profile, click the "Add" button.
